District Court of Nebraska – Wayne County – Robert Keith & Paige Hall
Partners Paige Hall and Rob Keith obtained an Order of Summary Judgment in a wrongful death case last week. Decedent’s estate sued a property owner in Wayne, Nebraska after Decedent fell from a second story window well suffering fatal injuries. The court agreed with Defendant’s position that the Decedent had no evidence the mansard in place outside the window was a proximate cause of the fall and a jury would be left to speculate as to the cause of the fall should the matter be allowed to proceed to trial.
